Tabernus software detects USBs, SD, MicroSD and other storage cards the same way we detect standard hard drives in our software. Once you detect the storage device, you can erase, and generate a report for the erasure event.

Here’s how you do it –

  1. Connect your storage card or USB to a PC
  2. Use a solution, like Enterprise Erase USB
  3.  Boot the Enterprise Erase USB software via a USB onto the PC.
  4. Your storage card will show up on the Tabernus GUI ready to be erased.

For larger volumes of storage cards, you may want to consider using Enterprise Erase ARRAY solution and loading on to a PC with a card reader or USB hub to tackle larger projects.

Special technical notes: USB 2.0 connections are currently supported. Also, on the reporting side, Note that not all storage cards will divulge or provide a serial number like a hard drive when creating a report.
